Necklace

I really have loved all the bright colors for clothes this summer season. But I am not sure I am someone who can pull off the light turquoise pants. So I decided to next best thing to do is brighten up my accessories. But I couldn't find what I wanted, for the price I wanted, at the stores. Which led me to a new hobby. Jewelry. What girl doesn't love jewelry? I've been experimenting with Swarovski pearl beads, acrylic, and glass. It has been highly entertaining and they make great gifts! Mom and Emily don't look too close. Some of these are yours! Here is a sample of some I have made.

I really love the red and yellow necklaces with blue beads. I think they are my favorite!

I think that the thing I am most proud of my necklaces is that I didn't take a class. I did some research and then acted on what I learned! Elder Bednar said once at a BYU devotional that the most important concept we can learn here at school is to LEARN how to LEARN. My brain maybe forgetting all the facts I learned in public health education but I can still learn! My brain still works!!! That was a pleasant surprise.
