Weekly Quote

"You will experience great joy in life as you eradicate adult-onset pessimism and substitute childlike optimism."
-Elder Perkins

Here is to a new year of being more optimistic and more like my amazing children. They teach me everyday about how to be better.

Another Update

We have almost survived the first quarter of Matt's crazy job. The first quarter of each year is filled with tons of travel for Matt and i play single parent a lot.

This year the anticipation of these trips seems worse than the weeks he's gone. I thought I'd be drowning with all three by myself and to be honest for a while I was.

But Benjamin has stopped teething and is fond of sleep again. So the bags under my eyes have shrunk and my level of sanity has been restored.

I have been trying so hard not to yell at them, a New Years goal Matt and I made. And I have been trying to not take everything so seriously.  And I can feel a difference and am much happier. I know I have been blessed. I heard a quote from President Hinckley that said, "count your blessings, but make your blessings count." And it has worked. Love my job! I feel bad that Matt doesn't have as much fun as I do. What will I do when they all are in school? Probably sleep for the first year.

At the zoo. I love when they get along.

Three boys and I feel so blessed!!

He's my favorite baby! 9 months old soon!
This is how we drink water ...the boys love giant cups of water!
Best friends!
