Here is to a new year of being more optimistic and more like my amazing children. They teach me everyday about how to be better.

A QuIcK UpDaTe

We are going to go to Spain & Israel next spring! Matt's graduate program will take us to the one place in the world I've always wanted to go. We will get to spend time in Jerusalem & Hifa. I can't wait! This news explains the weird picture up at the top of this post!

Yesterday Joshua and I went to the grocery store. The most exciting thing is that he sat in the cart all by himself! That is right, all by his lonesome. We strolled around and he had so much fun! He loved being in the cart and looking at everyone and everything. It was so fun!

I also forgot to mention that at Joshua's 4 month check-up he was

weight: 16 lbs 10 oz
height: 24 inches

His weight is now about 18 lbs. I know my baby is huge, but I was a big chunk just like him as a baby so I guess it is not surprising. He can sit now by himself and loves to be thrown around. We have a pack'n play that he uses upstairs in the kitchen and on it hangs three monkeys. Joshua's new favorite thing is to pull each one down and then suck on them. It is so cute! Today he actually brought down the whole mobile. He is getting so strong! I will remember to take pictures next time but I'm so proud of my little one!
